Do you love boating and all the fun associate with it? Come join our Clarks Hill Marina team! We're looking for a General Manager (GM) to come onboard.
Overview:
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for mentoring and training highly successful sales and service professionals for our dealership.
They provide the utmost level of customer service, while increasing sales and maximizing profits.
The GM is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and developing new ways to grow boat sales and service opportunities through strong professional leadership and management.
The GM will work directly under the guidance and review of the Directors and will work with other managers, department heads, and employees to ensure that the facility is working together in a cohesive way throughout all departments.
The General Manager is responsible for identifying ways to educate and grow the team to produce a sense of high standards and productivity within the culture.
What you'll be doing:
Develop core competencies within the operations, sales and service team.
Stay informed on industries standards, best practices, and new technology that will improve the organization.
Develop, implement, and enforce training plans for all levels of the team.
Collaborate with the team of Directors to develop clear vision and goals for all employees.
Develop pricing strategies for each manufacturer and brand within the requirements of the brand.
Ensure that the sales team is properly suited for selling the product that they are assigned to sell.
Manage and organize sales events, boat shows, and professional development efforts.
Create showroom presentation standards and enforce the standard.
Inspect product displays and general cleanliness of showroom, ship store and display areas to ensure they are up to standards.
Oversee healthy manufacturer & vendor relationships.
Review and approve all manufacturer orders and inventory control measures.
Manage aging Inventory.
Devise strong strategies to take advantage of secondary revenue streams such as back-end sales, F&l, Warranty Sales, and all other opportunities.
Manage, Plan, and coordinate events and travel when needed.
Work with Director of BXC, Sales, and Service to create reporting measures that will outline Key Performance Indicators (KPls) to monitor the productivity of all members of the sales team.
Maintain quality rental fleet, boat storage facilities and amenities Host weekly team meetings.
Perform duties of the team when needed.
All other tasks necessary to ensure the business/ success.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
